At Harvest Reapers Communications, we tap proven journalism experience and specialize in Black history and African American stories. Founded by Regina L. Burns in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee, this independent journalism agency is based in Dallas, Texas.

Regina L. Burns has earned a second master’s degree in response to a challenge from her former Abilene Christian University media law professor. The late Dr. Charlie Marler “ordered” her in December 2020 to get a graduate degree in history. Burns graduateg with an M.A. in History from the University of North Texas in December 2024. She completed her master’s degree in journalism administration at the University of Memphis in 1995 under the mentorship of Professors Emeriti Dr. Dan Lattimore and Dr. David Arant.
